A Helping Hand in Lichfield
The Church has an established record of supporting local communities and around Lichfield. This includes through the Rapid Relief Team UK, a charity made up of volunteers from the Church.
From picking up litter alongside community groups and helping ensure the success of the Lichfield Sherrif’s Ride, to donating Food Boxes to those facing poverty, the Church has made a significant positive impact in Lichfield and the surrounding area.
The Grace Trust, the giving arm of the Church which offers grants to charities, has also helped to make a real difference in the lives of the local community. The Trust recently donated to a Lichfield-based mental health charity to help them deliver new training courses for volunteers.
The new Gospel Hall represents an important opportunity to enhance and support these charitable efforts by being a place to coordinate this activity in Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
As a public place of worship, the local community will also be able to visit the Gospel Hall. There will also be opportunities for the Hall to support local community activities.
